Samsung's Bigger-Screen Galaxy Note 8 Smartphone Could Launch on August 23

Initially rumored to launch on August 26 in New York City, Samsung's long-anticipated Galaxy Note 8 smartphone is now said to hit the streets a few days earlier, on August 23, according to a new report coming from The Investor.

A Samsung executive apparently told The Investor that the Galaxy Note 8 phablet will be unveiled later next month in New York City, US, but it did not confirm August 23, 2017, as the official release date. However, according to sources, Samsung wants to start the device's sale in early September, ahead of Apple's 2017 iPhone unveiling.
