Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Redstone 3 Build 16251 with Tons of New Features

Even though Microsoft is now conducting the final Bug Bash ahead of the public launch of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, the company doesn’t want to abandon shipping new features, so the just-released build 16251 brings lots of improvements in this regard.

Specifically aimed at users in the Fast ring and at insiders who opted for the Skip Ahead feature, build 16251 introduces the very first features that let users link phones to PCs.

For the time being, this feature only makes it possible to benefit from cross-device web-browsing for Android users, which is another way of saying synchronization between phones and PCs. Microsoft says that iPhone support will be added in a future build.

Linking phones to a PC can be done from Settings > Phone and it involves receiving an SMS that prompts you to download a test application called “Microsoft Apps” for Android that makes it possible to establish the connection between the two devices.
