Is it weird that I love just installing and setting up Linux?

I recently finally got around to messing with Linux since taking a class on it for my degree, and let me tell you it was like crack. I first went with Arch because honestly I wasn't planning to switch over from windows and just wanted to poke around, and I had an absolute blast just trying to get things to work, researching things, and learning how to do everything in a terminal. It really deepened my knowledge of how computers work, especially when I ran into issues with drivers and display managers. As I learned new things or had a "oh THATS how I could have done that better" moment, I'd just completely reinstall Arch. I know I could have easily fixed it, but at the time I wasn't fully aware of exactly how what I was changing affected the system and starting on a clean slate and doing things right just felt better. I probably reinstalled Arch like 6 times, each time getting closer and closer to a usable experience. Man it was so fun. I'm the type of guy who LOVES setting up new devices for whatever reason, maybe its an ADHD thing, and installing Arch was that but on steroids. Although I eventually ditched it for Mint because I missed the polish of all the tiny things windows had that would probably take me weeks to figure out and would irk me enough to go back.
