Apple Analyst: Samsung Galaxy S9 to Copy iPhone 7 Plus’ Signature Feature

You can put this into the “thank you, Captain Obvious” section, but here’s a new investor note from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that confirms Samsung is going all-in on dual-camera phones.

According to the latest forecast published by Kuo, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S9 with a dual-camera setup as well, most likely in the spring of 2018.

It goes without saying that this is something that simply makes sense, especially because the Galaxy Note 8 itself also comes with dual cameras, but this new forecast finally confirms what we’ve heard lately and indicating that Samsung will only go with dual-lens tech for its flagships.
