Why did you switch to Linux and is Gaming & Coding possible?

I'm a big fan of playing games like Valorant and League of Legends, as well as coding in Visual Studio and Jetbrains (using languages like C++, C#, Python, etc.).

However, I often come across fellow coders who prefer to use Linux and claim it's far superior. It makes me curious as to why they feel that way.

Personally, I enjoy the layout of Windows, haven't faced any performance issues, and can easily play games without any workarounds that are often needed on Linux devices?

So, I'm left wondering, what makes Linux your preferred choice? Can you do everything on Linux that you could on Windows?

I've heard that certain games like League of Legends and Valorant are nearly impossible to play on Linux devices due to the anticheat blocking them.
