Course for Redhat/CentOS as a Debian/Ubuntu Admin?

Hey,

i am a Linux Sysadmin mostly for Debian/Ubuntu infrastructures. I want to improve and deepen my knowledge and found a course that covers a good amount of topics that seem interesting to me.

The topics are - the Command line in general, advanced shel scripting, advanced system troubelshooting, deep linux fundamentals and concepts and so on...

The only catch is, the course is entirely base on redhat/centos. We do have a few redhat servers but in majority we run Debian based servers. Should i take the course anyway? I am aware that paths, packages and concepts may differ from debian..

But what big difference is it really? I can't find a good debian course that has so much content for the price. But it would be a shame if all i learn is not useable for other distributions.

In other words - TL;DR

Are there major differences between Redhat and Debian, that a Readhat course would not be worth my time as a Debian Sysadmin?
