Use PulseAudio to use Android as external speaker/bluetooth receiver

My laptop does not have bluetooth unfortunately, and I don't really trust usb bluetooth receivers for some reason even though I can't find anything about them being more or less hackable that bluetooth on a smartphone. I want to be able to connect my Android phone to my laptop running ubuntu 23 with a USB-c for best performance and security to use my phone to output audio from my laptop. I know there are other solutions to this like Soundwire, Audiorelay, and sonobus, but they all have their drawbacks and I could only get soundwire to work after a day of fiddling with the other 2. Does anyone have any resources to use pulseaudio or something similar to have ubuntu see my phone as an external speaker and output audio to it over a wired usb connection? Any other solutions are welcome as well

I'm running ubuntu 23.01 on a Dell Latitude 5424 rugged and a galaxy s10e up to date on updates
