Introduction

State management is an important aspect of building React applications, and Redux has become a popular choice for managing state in complex applications. However, setting up Redux and writing boilerplate code can be difficult for beginners. This is where the Redux Toolkit comes in handy. The Redux Toolkit is the official recommended tool for building Redux applications designed to simplify Redux development and reduce boilerplate code.

What is Redux Toolkit?

The Redux Toolkit is a set of utilities and tools aimed at simplifying Redux-related logic such as store setup, actions, reducers, and static updates. It includes some powerful features out of the box, such as the configureStore function to create a reduction store, the createSlice function to define reductions and actions on a single file, and built-in facilities to handle asynchronous logic.

Install Redux Toolkit

To get started with the Redux Toolkit, you need to install it with React Redux:

npm build @ reduxjs / meta-redux toolkit

After installation, you can create a Redux store using the "configureStore" function provided by the Redux Toolkit:

// store.js
from '@reduxjs/toolkit' { import configureStore import;
import rootReducer from './reducers';

const store = configureStore({
reducer: rootReducer,
});

main export store;

In this example, the rootReducer is a composite reducer that you will define to handle different parts of your application's state.

Define a slice with CreateSlice

Redux Toolkit's createSlice function allows you to define reductions and actions in a single file, reducing the amount of boilerplate code. Create a slice to handle a simple counter:

// counterSlice.js
from '@reduxjs/toolkit' { import import createSlice;

const counterSlice = createSlice({
name: 'counter',
initial state: {
grade: 0
},
subtraction: {
rise : ( state ) => {
state.value += 1;
},
reduce : ( condition ) => {
state.value -= 1;
},
},
});

export const {increment, decrement} = counterSlice.actions;
export default counterSlice.reducer;

Connecting React to Redux components

To connect your Redux store to a React component, you'll use the useSelector and useDispatch hooks provided by react-redux. Here's how to use it in a React component:

// Counter.js
import 'reaction';
from 'react-redux' { import useSelector, useDispatch;
{increment,decrement} from './counterSlice';

Counter() function.
const count = useSelector((state) => state.counter.value);
const dispatch = useDispatch ();

return (
<div>
<click button = {() => send(increment())}>increment</button>
<span>{number}</span>
<button click = {() => send(down()) }> Escape </button>
</div>
);
}

main export counter;

Bringing it all together

Now, you can integrate the Redux store and Counter component into your application:

// App.js
import 'reaction';
from 'react-redux' { import provider;
import store from './store';
import Counter from './Counter';

function App() {
return (
<provider store = {store}>
<Counter />
</Provider>
);
}

export the main program;

The results

The Redux Toolkit simplifies state management in React applications by providing a more intuitive API and reducing boilerplate code. In this article, we've covered the basics of the Redux Toolkit, including creating a Redux store, defining slices with createSlice, and connecting Redux to React components. With the Redux Toolkit, you can make your code more secure and scalable with little effort to manage complex application states.
