📚 How is this dir existing?

So in my home dir when I tried to cd to my projects dir, this new dir showed up recently. As I remember the procps/ dir was not there yesterday.

user@linux $ cd pro

procps/ projects/

I tried ls -la and it doesn't show up

I'm also not able to see it with cat and tab completion.But I'm able to cd procps/. When I cd into it I can do cat ./ and it says: cat: ./: Is a directory

I'm also not able to dir procps/ dir: cannot access 'procps/': No such file or directory

What else I can do more to investigate further on this directory.
