๐ Why do so many companies work with Red Hat?

So recently, I've been searching a Linux engineer position. I notice a good portion of listings mention rhel so I ended up installing it on a VM no problem. I get in, I'm looking around, activate the OS with my trial and learn about it's YUMmy package manager.
I search the documentation, I look at a couple of courses for the rhel certifications and everything turns up fairly basic. The only thing I could really find that was different was the package manager. Now I'm sitting here thinking what even is the point of rhel? Why do so many companies work with Red Hat? What am I missing here?
