New iPhone 8 Suffering from Swollen Battery, First One in the US

Apple has already confirmed that it’s investigating reports pointing to a battery issue on the iPhone 8, and the company might have more work to do as the number of devices that appear to be suffering from this issue is growing.

This time, an iPhone 8 with a swollen battery has been reported in the United States where an alleged Best Buy employee says a customer brought in a device for repairs.

Very little has been said about the model in question, and it’s not yet clear if the device was an iPhone 8 or an iPhone 8 Plus, but it’s worth noting that all iPhones suffering from similar issues until now were all Plus.
