Facebook Buys thb Viral App for Teenagers

Facebook has just purchased a new app called tbh that’s supposedly aimed at teenagers that just want to be nice to other people.

tbh stands for To Be Honest and it’s one of the most viral apps at this moment. More than a billion messages have been exchanged through tbh, and it’s seen exponential growth. So much so that Facebook became very much interested in it and bought it.

What sets the application apart from everything else is that it’s not just another messaging app with social features. It’s not about taking pictures of the food, or any of the stuff that worked for other apps. It’s all about giving positive feedback in an anonymous way, and to make people feel better.
