Is it me or am I doing something wrong, WSL/Ubuntu command

Firstly, if this is the wrong place to ask. Just go ahead and remove the post.

I recently installed Ubuntu using WSL2. Everything was working correctly yesterday, but now nothing is. any command I use (example: wsl -l) comes up saying "Command 'wsl' not found, but can be installed with: sudo apt install wsl." I unregistered Ubuntu, re-installed (wsl --install), restarted, and it's still giving me the same error.

Just trying to figure out how to resolve this issue.
