My introduction to Linux was through the Raspberry Pi. Many of the apps that I want to use are X86 Native Debian apps and ran into frustrations getting them onto a Raspberry Pi based Desktop since the Pi is an Arm Machine. Now the Pi Foundation has an X86 Distro for older laptops. Does that run smoothly? Im looking for the Reaper Audio app, Signal, the Steam Store if possible and Waydroid for Android APKs. Anybody have success with using the PiOS on a regular laptop and not just the Raspberry Pi? Or would I be better off with user friendly distros like Ubuntu, Pop or Mint?
