The 5GHz channel on this router is randomly encountering issues and I am not sure how to determine whether it is the result of interference or hardware failure. There are periods of random packet loss and long round trip times on all devices on the 5GHz band but not on the 2.4GHz band. Nothing in the logs in the router's interface at 192.168.1.1 so I have ssh'd into the router but I'm not sure where to look next. iwconfig shows a signal level of -101dbm for 5GHz and -98dbm for 2.4GHz, but the Synology SRM interface states the signal quality is 'excellent' so I'm not sure how reliable this is. ifconfig shows no dropped packets. Any ideas for what to check next appreciated.
