Is Linux User Friendly

TLDR: is linux user friendly enough?

I don't know if you have ever played chess, but after you register on chess.com or lichess.org, it asks you a question like "have you played chess before?" or "what is your chess level". I think linux needs something like that because a user friendly operating system should not be "more similar to windows (like linux-mint, which is the most recommended for new users)" but "an operating system that can explain to the user what is done and how to do it etc. for example for fedora, I have to search what dnf or rpm configuration is. even though the documentation is sufficient, it can be difficult for some new users to learn what all these commands do. i know that learning doesn't happen one day, but some users don't switch to linux just because they are too lazy to learn (because they are used to using windows). imo a new user shouldn't have to learn or research these things. for example, KDE could make the Meta+Tab shortcut default for switching between virtual desktops. i understand that linux is a journey or an adventure, not a silver spoon in your mouth, but i think this is also a big obstacle for linux to stand out. what are your thoughts?
