I am taking advantage of holiday deals. I plan to install 3-4 different distros to mess around with . I have (3) m.2 NVME drives - 1 for Win OS and 2 more for storage. I have a 4TB SATA HDD for backup. I have 2 more SATA ports free. Would I be better off choosing say a 500GB SATA III drive with multiple partitions, or two128GB drives and have one distro on each? I don't know if future updates will mess up the partitions? Also, I want them nowhere near my Windows OS, hence the separate drives. Thanks.
