- SDDM without tweaks to /etc/sddm.conf finally working
- Wayland session finally working - Just moments ago, no ideas what issues I may find yet.
- X11 session broke - Plasma loads, black screens, but can generate some artifacts using meta key to pop up the menu, or alt-f2 and starting a shell. I'll tackle this next sometime, probably when something forces me to x11 for some reason.
- No HDMI audio showing up, but had this issue before the nvidia driver attempt today.
Not sure what else, yet, was configured by the packages... But for anyone else on an Intel / Nvidia Optimus laptop and no BIOS switch for it, I'm happy to poke around and see what it's done to finally make this damn thing work.
Long fricken road. LONG. Way too long. I'd given up hope of this ever working several times.
