Samsung Reportedly Launching "Uhssup" Social Media Service with the Galaxy S9

Recent reports claim that Samsung plans to unveil a new social media service called "Uhssup," which could be integrated into the upcoming Galaxy S9 and S9+ line-up that the tech giant will launch at MWC 2018.

According to Korean website HeraldCorp (via Android Community), Samsung will unveil a location-based Uhssup Samsung Social media product as an alternative to the popular WhatsApp, Facebook Messager, and even Twitter messaging and social media services.

It would appear that Samsung recently filed a trademark registration for the "SAMSUNG SOCIAL" name after previously registering "Uhssup" at the domestic patent office. The report claims that the social media service could go live on March 19, 2018.
