- Saturday : So yeah... I didn't really sleep Friday because I was determined to get this website launched so we could start taking orders. I ran into so many issues that weren't there with the sample app I made to test things out. It was like 5 or 6 in the morning on Saturday when I got things working, at least I hoped so. I was using test data to make the fake purchases so I prayed that real purchases would work also. Woke up a couple of hours later to get ready for the radio show. As I got ready, I saw notifications of a bunch of purchases coming through on my phone! It worked! I was so happy and felt good going into the station and doing the radio show. Sunday : Had a pretty good and productive day even though I got up like 30 minutes later than normal. I had my study sessions at https://untilit.works where I got a bunch of stuff done. I did my taxes. I finally figured out how I wanted to enclose the front of my print cabinet and ordered the parts to be here in a couple of days. Designed a couple of 3D models that I want to print for this collab. Yeah, it was a good day.
Professional : Kept the productive train going into Monday. Had a meeting with my manager. I wrapped up the refactor of a project I was given and updated some dependencies and updated the accompanying blog post. Started working on another project.
Personal : I printed a stand for one of the items for the collab project. I had it standing up all day today and it would fall over sometimes. I'm going to modify it so that it's more stable and print another one. I also tested a live streaming platform I created and deployed like last year and it still works! Going to use if for the live streams that we'll be having to promote the project we have for sale.
Going to redesign the stand and get it ready to print later. Right now, I'm printing the 1st item of the collab right now so we can reveal it during the live stream tomorrow. I'm also going to change the credentials for the live stream platform and test that out. I'm also looking to finish up the design for the item we'll debut on the Thursday live stream so I can print a prototype tomorrow. I've also started playing around with ideas on how I want to package all these items together. I still need to decide how I want to include the battery on the item we'll debut next Tuesday. A lot of stuff happening! Also need to add some things to the HIPHOP.family site. I'm out! Got food to eat and work to do.
