Hey everyone,

I'm excited to share my open-source project, lseditor – a free, offline-capable code editor that brings AI-assisted coding to your local machine. Inspired by tools like Cursor AI, windsurf and other lseditor empowers you to integrate your own AI models without relying on cloud services or incurring subscription fees.

Key Features

• Fully Local Operation: Run lseditor entirely on your machine, ensuring privacy and eliminating the need for an internet connection.

• Custom AI Model Integration: Seamlessly connect with models like GPT-4 via platforms such as LM Studio, Ollama, OpenRouter, or oobabooga. (in progress)

• No API Limits: Enjoy unrestricted access without worrying about token quotas or API rate limits.

• Open Source: Licensed under MIT, lseditor is free to use, modify, and distribute.

Tech Stack

• Frontend: Built with Electron and React for a responsive and modern user interface.

• Backend: Utilizes Node.js and TypeScript for robust performance and scalability.

• Build Tools: Configured with Webpack for efficient bundling and development workflow.

Looking for Contributors

lseditor is in its early stages, and I'm actively seeking contributors to help shape its future. Whether you're a developer, designer, or have ideas to enhance the project, your input is welcome!
