I’m currently using a Samsung GalaxyBook4 Edge that has a Snapdragon X Elite processor and running Windows 11. When I got it, it was certainly responsive but it was also really bloat and annoying I would say. I think it’s mostly due to the OS. I wanted to switch to Linux on it but I’ve heard that support isn’t too great on ARM. However, Windows is ultimately making my laptop slower and I need a good option that gives me better performance and battery life. I’ve researched on Arch Linux and have settled on that being my main distro choice. However, what specs do I get for my new laptop if I return it. Do I get an Intel Lunar Lake chip or AMD Strix Point chip that uses x86? Is it also possible to get some recommendations for what laptop I can get? I’m new to all of this so please let me know
