Notebook doesn't boot from USB

I tried many times doing the boot on an old notebook, even excluded windows from the boot option but didn't work. Created the bootable pen-drive 3 times but no success at all. Need help figuring out the reason, the notebook reads the pen-drive normally, trying to install Mint xfce edition, might be a hardware limitation? Pen-drive is brand new.
