Everyone has their own experience. This was mine. I worked day and night just to get stuck and go through 60,000,000 tokens within a few hours and missed the deadline and didn't even get to turn in anything. I thought I was dumb. I am by no means intelligent or anything but I thought I had the cognitive skills or whatever brain functions are necessary to use a platform like Bolt.new so I went and tried a couple alternatives. Lovable.dev, Replit, Bubble, and a few others and I came to a new conclusion. Bolt.new is by far the worst one that I tried. It's not even close. None of the others worked for five minutes and said it did this and that just to create files or edit files that ended up empty. After misinterpreting what I said and doing something different none of the others tried to redo the same thing 10 times after I recorded it and told it that's not what I want. None of the others said it was going to do something in great detail then did something totally different and off subject then when I tried to say it differently or use the enhance prompt feature said it was going to do it right just to spit out another empty file. I stayed as calm as I possibly could and talked to support, which did reset some of my tokens, but it didn't matter because it was such a big project or so it said even after following the steps to make it smaller that it would use millions of tokens to do absolutely nothing except for sometimes it would edit a file that has content and turn it into a n empty file. Then I get an email saying my tokens roll over a few weeks ago but get on today just because I still had tokens that I actually paid for and they were gone. I don't expect to win anything for this writing contest and probably won't even get the participation badge but I figured I would share my experience. I used lovable to create my project that I could have done without any of the platforms and cloned the repo and brought to Bolt.new to finish it up but that backfired big time. And it was immediately down and needed major debugging that I had to do off of Bolt and a bunch of empty files that I had to rewrite off of Bolt. Bolt cost me a lot of time, a little bit of money, and I feel dumber having ever used it. I really hope I am the only one that experienced anything like this but I swear that every word is true. I don't even want to watch the presentation of winners because I think I have something that could have won a prize of some sort. Definitely not the top ones because I seen some impressive projects if they work like they say. Thank you for letting me try.
P.s. I am going to need them tokens back that were supposed to rollover unless you want to buy me some on Lovable.
