Ghislaine Maxwell is doing everything she can to end and escape her punishment. But you must not believe her. Maxwell was the right-hand woman of Jeffrey Epstein to whom she was a girlfriend as well as a top manager of Epstein’s clandestine trafficking operation.
Now Maxwell is begging the Supreme Court, the Congress as well as the President of the United States to get her conviction overturned, get clemency or an outright pardon.
This would be a disastrous blow to the criminal justice system as well as a major disservice to the dozens of victims Maxwell was found guilty of abusing along with Epstein.
But the worst part of this is that some conservative commentators are now claiming that Maxwell might be trusted to tell the truth and they are regurgitating her new line of defense – that she wasn’t a co-conspirator in Epstein’s criminal enterprise – but that she was his victim. [
