I just found out that Linux runs Micrsofts proprietary smb protocol better than Windows. I always had issues with smb being weird on my MS Server Datacenter, I could access it, but then when I wanted to save to it from a file picker it would take 15 seconds before I could access the folder, my printer occasionally had problems accessing them and sometimes slow at my wifes computer. Now when the SMB shares are on Rocky Linux, it's lightning fast from my wifes Windows computer and my Linux computers, my printer has no issues with the folders, what the heck!? :D
