Solitaire is by far one of the most popular card games in the world, but we all know how to play it and it’s not always very engaging. Occlude wants to bring a unique way of playing Solitaire, with rather interesting twists, and a rather occult approach to card games. Which is fine, as it tries to do something new and exciting, while also building on the more popular Solitaire gameplay.
I’ve played Occlude through multiple versions, up until the latest 1.0.3 at the time of this writing, and they continually tried to add new ideas and improvements to the game, which I appreciate. At its core, the game feels easy to play, but a lot of the core elements are not presented during the tutorial. Instead, you need to figure out how to play and solve those puzzles, which is quite exciting for a card game, to be honest.
