I had just installed arch Linux( the easy way and rebooted it after signing keys for it to boot even in secured mode on my Acer nitro V 15.
The thing is while rebooting it took a while so I had the idea to force shut down it , when I tried to repower the laptop, the screen went black, with just backlight and fans working.
I think the force shutdown probably corrupted the bios somehow cuz nothing else I did that played with bios enough to corrupt it. Sbctl itself shouldn't rlly be able to do it smh.
