Android, iPhone Get Support for Windows Timeline

Microsoft has long been criticized for investing too much in non-Windows devices like Android phones and iPhones, but this strategy is slowly taking shape quite nicely as the company announces new ways to bring platforms in sync.

At Build 2018, Microsoft will announce new features coming to Android and iOS devices with its apps, including support for Windows Timeline, the new tool that’s part of Windows 10 April 2018 Update.

With Windows Timeline, Windows 10 users can return to a certain point within the last 30 days and restore their activity, including apps, documents, and websites.

Windows Timeline will be available beyond Windows 10 for Microsoft’s users, the company announced at Build. Timeline will be integrated into Microsoft Edge on iOS and Android, and Google’s mobile operating system is also getting this feature as an integrated part of the Microsoft Launcher.
