This is a submission for the DEV's Worldwide Show and Tell Challenge Presented by Mux

What I Built

fullcircle is a spiritual dating and community app that combines personal growth with meaningful connections. It's the only dating app with The Sanctuary - a space where you track meditation, share daily affirmations, and discover spiritual gatherings.

Match based on meditation practices, yoga styles, healing modalities, and spiritual draws. Seek romance, friendship, or both.

The Story Behind It

As both a software engineer and actor, I've seen friends in the spiritual community struggle to find partners who understand their meditation practice, healing journey, or why they need to attend that weekend retreat.

Dating apps force you to choose between scrolling and growing. I built fullcircle to make them the same thing.

The Sanctuary was born from this insight: people on spiritual paths don't just want to date - they want to grow alongside someone. So why not build both into one app?

Technical Highlights

Built entirely solo using:

Frontend: React Native with Expo Router

Backend: Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Authentication, Storage)

Auth: Phone verification, Google OAuth, Apple Sign-In

Real-time: Firebase messaging and push notifications

State Management: React Context API

Safety: Selfie verification, 21+ age verification

The spiritual community is underserved by mainstream dating apps. People practicing meditation, yoga, or energy healing want connections with others who understand:
