I'm using KeepaasXC as my password manager of choice. I try to use TOTP on as many sites as support it, and use the Google Autheticator app on my phone under the logic that my TOTP info should be on a separate device.
But, especially on weekends, I tend to get up, still in pajamas, go downstairs, make breakfast, eat, and then fire up laptop and start planning my day. This sometimes involves placing an Amazon order. And then I need to go back to my bedroom and unplug my phone and bring it downstairs. or sometimes I will forget to charge my phone now it's dead and I need to wait for it to charge enough to turn on.
I have all my TOTP QR codes backup in a password protected 7zip file on my Nextcloud server, so I can easily re-enter them all if I have to.
There's a certain convenience (and redundancy) in having my TOTPs available on my PC in my password protected Keepass file (or some other app). But is this considered bad practice?
