I'm setting up a box that will host several Virtualbox VM's (Ubuntu).
I've already decided not to encrypt the host disk itself, for certain reasons.
Now I have a dilemma: Should I use Virtualbox' encryption feature, or the Ubuntu LVM encryption for guests? I guess both would bog down the system too much so I see no point in doing that.
Please help me with that decision. I'm mostly concerned about the ability to decrypt the HDD if the HDD/server ever gets stolen.
TIA
