Should Clamtk still be safe to use?

So I was trying to figure out which free mainstream antivirus would be best, then found out NONE of them support Linux. I'm currently using Zorin OS and I wanted to have a little extra security, especially since I'm gonna be running some windows programs. I just gave up and downloaded clamtk, figuring the lack of new updates shouldn't matter since it's just a gui for clam. Should I reconsider keeping it?
