Organizing File System for SSD and HDD combination

I'm relatively new to Linux and am worried about how the lifespan of my SSD will be impacted by using it as primary storage. I would like to believe that I will replace it before it is unusable, but as it is my first one I don't know how hard I will be on it (I suppose I could just try and find out :p). Here are my machines current specs and setup

Ubuntu 18.04:

- 128GB SanDisk Plus SSD: / (root), /boot/efi, and /swapfile are all on here.

- 4TB WD Red NAS: mounted to /C (wanted some familiarity with Windows)

Windows 10:

- 320GB Seagate HDD: Games and stuff (Not too concerned with this as it is completely separate)

CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB

My main question is which of the Linux File Systems could be moved to my HDD without losing the ability to boot quickly, etc..

I hope to use the Linux system for programming and simulations, and considering how much I may read/write I am worried about the SSD.
