Looking for a specific Linux Guide comment

Not too long ago I was looking up best ways to learn Linux and stumbled on a thread where someone commented a beautiful step by step guide on tasks to complete, and by the time you were finished you almost touched and configured every area of Linux.

I know its not a lot to go on, but if anyone is familiar with that post and has it saved I would love to find it again!
