I’ve been working on an anime tracking platform inspired by MyAnimeList and AniList.
The goal of this project is to explore whether a simpler, cleaner user experience can make anime tracking more enjoyable, while still keeping the core functionality users expect.
Instead of adding more complexity, I focused on reducing clutter and making the experience faster and more intuitive.
What it currently has:
- User authentication (accounts/login system)
- Personal anime lists per user
- Tracking system (watching / completed / plan to watch)
- Progress tracking across anime
- Ratings / rating system
- Anime browsing and discovery (seasonal content)
- Minimal UI focused on simplicity and speed
