iOS 12, macOS Mojave, and watchOS 5 to Include More Than 70 New Emoji Characters

Apple today celebrates the "World Emoji Day" by teasing iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch users with more than 70 new emoji characters coming this fall in the iOS 12, macOS Mojave, and watchOS 5 free software updates.

Designed in Unicode 11.0, the new emoji characters coming this fall to iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch devices include many more hair options like red hair, curly hair, gray hair, as well as a new emoji for bald people. According to Apple, new smiley faces, including party face, cold face, face with hearts, and a pleading face will be available as well for the Messages app.

There will also be new characters for symbols and sports to enhance your expression when messaging people, and it looks like Apple also plans to grow the list of animals and foods represented by emoji characters sometime later this year with new kangaroo, parrot, peacock, lobster, mango, cupc...
