Hey everyone! 👋

I'm Thabang Gideon, and I'm a Full-Stack Agile Developer based in South Africa. I've been a quiet observer here for a while, soaking up knowledge, and I'm thrilled to finally share my first post.

💻 My Tech Journey

My journey into tech has been a mix of curiosity and building things. I'm comfortable working across the stack, and my day-to-day toolkit includes:

Languages: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript

Frontend: React (with Flowbite for UI)

Backend: NestJS, GraphQL

Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

DevOps & Tools: Docker, Git, Jenkins

I'm a firm believer in agile methodologies and love the process of turning ideas into functional, clean code.

🤔 Why I'm Joining Dev.to

I decided to join the Dev.to community to move from being a consumer of knowledge to a contributor. I believe in the power of community-driven learning, and I'm excited to[reference:5]:

Share What I'm Learning: I'm currently diving deeper into React ⚛️, TypeScript ⌨️, and GraphQL 🔮.

Document My Process: I plan to write about the challenges and successes I encounter while building projects.

Connect with Peers: I'm looking forward to engaging with other developers, getting feedback, and learning from your experiences.

In my upcoming posts, I plan to share some project walkthroughs and maybe a few tutorials on topics I'm passionate about, such as building robust APIs with ReactJS or managing state effectively with Zustand.
