Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian broke the news during the Google Cloud Next 2026 event in Las Vegas. He explained that Gemini technology will help build the foundation for future Apple Intelligence features.



The biggest takeaway from his speech was the direct mention of a much more personalized Siri. For years, the Apple assistant has fallen behind newer chat tools in terms of basic conversational skills and smart replies. Now, Apple is tapping into Google to fix this gap.
