Google Chrome Asking for Incoming Connections?

Since yesterday Google Chrome has been causing the OS X Application Firewall to ask for permission to accept incoming connections.

I've used Chrome for years without it ever asking me for this, so I'm just curious if I'm the only one experiencing this?

I've tried disabling all add-ons, resetting to default settings, deleting cache and cookies etc, but it still asks for incoming connections every time I start the application.

I've also tried downloading the latest Google Chrome Canary, and the same thing happens out of the box, with no add-ons or anything.

None of my other browsers have this behaviour, so I'm starting to get a little bit Chrome paranoid.

Since when should a browser ask for incoming connections??
