A vulnerability marked as critical has been reported in Linux Kernel up to 6.6.134/6.12.81/6.18.22/6.19.12. This vulnerability affects the function filemap_map_pages of the file /include/linux/rmap.h. This manipulation causes denial of service.

This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2026-31648. The attack can only be done within the local network. There is not any exploit available.
