A vulnerability identified as problematic has been detected in open-telemetry opentelemetry-dotnet up to 1.15.2. The impacted element is the function Path.GetTempPath. This manipulation causes creation of temporary file in directory with insecure permissions.

This vulnerability is tracked as CVE-2026-42191. The attack is restricted to local execution. No exploit exists.
