🌍 The World Cup Hackathon on Solana



The World Cup is coming, and with it comes a new opportunity for builders in the Solana ecosystem.



TxODDS has announced a World Cup-focused hackathon with a $50,000 prize pool for developers who want to build applications powered by real-time football data on Solana.







Whether you're interested in prediction markets, AI agents, or fan engagement products, this hackathon is a chance to turn an idea into a working on-chain product.









💰 Prize Pool



The total prize pool of $50,000 USD is distributed across three tracks:









🏆 Prediction Markets and Settlement — $18,000



Build markets, settlement systems, oracle tooling, or on-chain verification systems powered by official match data.



Examples:




  • Match outcome prediction markets

  • Automated settlement systems

  • Sports oracle infrastructure

  • On-chain proof of match results









🤖 Trading Tools and Agents — $16,000



Create autonomous agents that consume live odds and match data, detect opportunities, and execute strategies automatically.

  • Automated betting/strategy engines

  • Real-time analytics tools









🎮 Consumer and Fan Experiences — $16,000



Build fan-facing applications that use live World Cup data to create engaging experiences.
