tvOS 27 Developer Beta 3 Is Now Available: Here’s What’s New

Apple has released tvOS 27 Developer Beta 3 for developers. The update is now available for eligible Apple TV models enrolled in the developer beta program.

How to Update

Open Settings on your Apple TV.

Go to System.

Select Software Updates.

Turn on Beta Updates.

Choose tvOS 27 Developer Beta.

Select Update Software and install the latest build.

Make sure your Apple TV stays connected to power and Wi-Fi during the update.

What’s New

Apple has not shared any major new feature changes for tvOS 27 Developer Beta 3 yet.

This update likely focuses on:

Bug fixes: Apple may have fixed issues found in earlier tvOS 27 beta builds.

Performance improvements: The update should make the system feel smoother during app switching, streaming, and navigation.

Developer testing: Developers can test their apps again before the public release later this year.

Stability updates: Beta 3 may improve reliability for Apple TV apps, AirPlay, and system settings.

Since this is still a developer beta, some bugs and app issues may still appear. It is better to install it only on a secondary Apple TV if you rely on your device every day.

If you’ve already installed the update, let us know your experience in the comments.
