A vulnerability labeled as problematic has been found in Linux Kernel up to 5.15.147/6.1.74/6.6.13/6.7.1. Affected by this issue is the function scarlett2_usb_set_config of the component ALSA. The manipulation results in unchecked return value.

This vulnerability is reported as CVE-2023-52692. The attacker must have access to the local network to execute the attack. No exploit exists.

The affected component should be upgraded.
