A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in TomWright dasel up to 3.10.0. Affected by this issue is the function parseCurRune of the file selector/lexer/tokenize.go of the component Escape Sequence Handler. Performing a manipulation results in memory corruption.

This vulnerability is identified as CVE-2026-46377. The attack is only possible with local access. There is not any exploit available.
