I should have moved to kill Bessie as soon as its name was mentioned. But I was more focused on making sure none of the creepy crawly aliens could reach the vulnerable colonists. Turrets helped, as did a decent number of mercenaries. Once the base was impenetrable, enemies were constantly assaulting defended chokepoints, making it basically impossible to get to the alien boss.

Now we’re back on the ship, joined by the evacuated colonists. I spend resources on upgrades for my soldiers and talk with my second in command about the tactical situation. Then it’s time to launch into another battle and think about humanity’s future among these hostile stars.

ZeroSpace is developed by Starlance Studios and Ironward, with publishing handled by Starlance Studios and Gamersky Games. The title is currently in Early Access on Steam. The video game combines a classic take on real-time strategy with a character-driven story.
