A vulnerability was found in facelessuser pymdown-extensions up to 11.0.0. It has been rated as problematic. Affected is the function markdown.markdown of the component caret/tilde/betterem/magiclink. This manipulation causes incorrect regular expression.

The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2026-67422. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. There is no exploit available.

Upgrading the affected component is advised.
