Computer security master thesis topic?

Hi,i'm trying to finish my computer security studies, but I'm having trouble coming up with thesis topic that would include "reasearch element" as doctors on my university said.Initially I wanted to test most popular attacks on wifii and show how using public ones is dangerous, but then I was told, that it's more of a engineering (bachelor) thesis than master's. I modified this topic into profiling network traffic, but that'd require a lot of data to analyze, and since work full-time, I don't have time to collect that.

What would be a low-effort master thesis topic from computer security that'd have "research element" ?
