GitHub: Are AI code reviews getting worse?

Bigger AI models do not automatically make better code reviewers. According to recent benchmarks, newer frontier models can produce longer, highly formatted responses while missing fundamental bugs. When relying on AI agents to review pull requests, explain diffs, or diagnose issues, conciseness and accuracy matter far more than verbosity.
